Autumn Has Arrived
from the Grey Book
sunset
as red as apples -
cicadas chant 418
ha grasshopper
I made you jump -
I hear you land 419
still warm
in the shadows -
summer evening 421
summer breeze -
whispering goodbye
to the grasses 422
no moon
to light my way -
the path longer 424
dull skies -
not always unwelcome
the morning rain 426
evening bell -
far away
devotions 427
dozing dog -
dreaming she had
a busy day 431
never ending -
cold winds tug
at the grass 434
what sadness -
the lies
of people 435
filling the air
with sudden bickering -
magpies 437
sunny day
just for a moment -
dreaming of soup 438
all fine things -
just as wet
in the rain 439
blooms spent -
agapanthus alluring
still 441
another leaf falls
so many I have lost count -
the wind reminds me 442
fading light -
soon autumn winds
steal summer 443
whiter now -
first autumn winds,
the mountains 446
autumn day -
paint brush clouds
across the sky 447
leaves
tossed by autumn winds -
I follow 448
clouds part
around Mt Tauhara -
one dares go over 449
